Data & Deletion – SMP Connect
No SMP Connect Account
SMP Connect does not provide account creation or sign-in and does not maintain a persistent SMP Connect user-profile database. Because there is no SMP Connect account, there is no app account to delete.
Local Data Stored by the App
The app can store the last selected server option, a custom server hostname/address and port, and a local flag recording whether Android's notification permission has already been requested.
How to Remove Local Data
You can remove locally stored SMP Connect settings at any time by either:
- opening Android Settings → Apps → SMP Connect → Storage and choosing the option to clear app storage/data; or
- uninstalling SMP Connect.
Depending on your Android/Google backup settings, Android may maintain its own device backup of eligible app settings. Backup and restore controls are provided by Android/Google, not by SMP Connect.
Temporary Connection Data
Local network/session information and Minecraft/Microsoft authentication payloads used for the temporary Bedrock connection are designed to be processed in memory and are not intentionally retained by SMP Connect in a persistent user database after the connection process ends.
Support Emails
If you email support@smpconnect.net, your email address, message and any information you choose to include may be stored in our support systems. You can request deletion of eligible support correspondence by emailing the same address. We may retain information where reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution or legal obligations.
Data Held by Selected Servers
NinjiSMP, DonutSMP and custom Minecraft servers are separate services. Data created when your console connects directly to a selected server is controlled under the practices of that server's operator. DonutSMP and user-selected custom servers are not operated by Trafficmanagers B.V.
