Terms of Use – SMP Connect
These Terms of Use apply to the SMP Connect Android application, package net.smpconnect.app, operated by Trafficmanagers B.V.
1. Purpose
SMP Connect is a technical utility that helps compatible Minecraft Bedrock consoles discover a temporary LAN endpoint on the same local network and then transfers the console to a server chosen by the user.
2. Requirements
You are responsible for having compatible hardware, a working local network, a legitimate copy of Minecraft and any console-platform subscription required for online multiplayer. PlayStation and Xbox requirements are set by their respective platform operators and may change.
3. Server Selection
The app may offer convenience presets such as ninjismp.net and donutsmp.net, and may allow a custom Bedrock server address and port. A preset is a connection shortcut, not a statement that SMP Connect owns, controls or endorses that server.
DonutSMP is an independent third-party server/service. It is not operated by Trafficmanagers B.V. and is not affiliated with or endorsed by SMP Connect. Users who enter a custom server are responsible for choosing a lawful and appropriate destination.
4. Third-Party Platforms
Minecraft, Microsoft, Xbox, PlayStation, Discord, DonutSMP and other third-party products and services are subject to their own terms, rules, age requirements and privacy practices. SMP Connect does not grant rights to use those services and does not bypass subscriptions, licenses, bans, parental controls or platform restrictions.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use SMP Connect to interfere with networks, devices or services, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious software, evade platform security controls, violate applicable law, or intentionally abuse third-party services.
6. Online Multiplayer and External Communities
Online multiplayer and community services can expose users to content or communications created by other users. Parents and guardians should supervise younger users and review the safety controls and age requirements of Minecraft, console platforms, SMP servers and third-party communities such as Discord.
7. Availability and Compatibility
Minecraft, Android, PlayStation, Xbox, router firmware and server software can change. We may update, suspend or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for compatibility, maintenance, security or legal compliance. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device, router, network, Minecraft release or third-party server.
8. Your Configuration
You are responsible for the accuracy of any custom hostname, IP address or port you enter. SMP Connect may store this configuration locally on your device for convenience.
9. Liability and Consumer Rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SMP Connect is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Privacy
Use of SMP Connect is subject to the SMP Connect Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the app, applicable law or third-party platform requirements. The current version will be published on this page.
